Target has with success established the first holes ever drilled on our 200kmsq permits.
As a pioneer, the main challenge they faced was uncertainty around the ground quality. Target Drilling has performed very well and delivered the 4,000m which we agreed in contract. With all necessary equipment in place such as a booster to support the air pressure supply, Target provided dry samples at 250m depth for RC holes in difficult ground conditions. In addition to AC holes and RC holes, one diamond drill hole was completed at a 310m depth with good core recovery. Most importantly the team around Target Drilling operated in a very professional manner with a good working environment and communication allowing for each hole to be completed on a very reasonable time, and from our side costs managed under budget.
